For many years, Katherine has worked as an editor for Harvard Business School, the Harvard Kennedy School, and the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. She also provides editing services to people around the globe, her reputation for excellence spreading by word of mouth.
In her Harvard work and beyond, Katherine has provided developmental and copyediting services for many successful trade and academic books, including on leadership, culture, behavioral economics, negotiation, and business ethics. She has edited articles and op-eds that have appeared in top outlets, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Scientific American, and Psychology Today. Katherine has also edited hundreds of research articles, many of which have been published in leading scientific journals, such as Psychological Science, Science, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
For many years, Katherine wrote the eight-page monthly newsletter Negotiation Briefings, an advice-oriented publication from the Program on Negotiation. Beyond academia and business, Katherine has edited books on topics ranging from money to family planning to photography. She coedited We Got This: Solo Mom Stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor, an award-winning anthology of personal essays and poems by single mothers, and was editor-at-large for the social media platform Empowering Social Moms Everywhere. A fiction writer herself, Katherine provides both developmental editing and line-editing services for short stories and novels.
